We actually have a full week of classes this week and are starting in on Chapter 5 and working with fractions. POW #11 is due on Wednesday. We will be doing the first four lessons this week and then hope to take a quiz next Monday.

Hope that you had the opportunity to meet with your homeroom teacher and discuss your progress reports and how things are going in school. We have four weeks left in this quarter and MEA's take up most of this week. I will be passing our a new POW on Wednesday that will be due the following Wednesday.

Not another snow day, this is not good. We are done with our iMovie projects and the students did a very good job on their presentations. We are going to be starting Chapter 5 this week and POW #10 is due on Wednesday. This will be a very short week due to the snow day and there being a half day on Thursday and no school on Friday due to parent conferences.

I can't believe that our first day back from vacation was a snow day. We are going to be in school for all of June at this rate. We are finishing up our iMovies with Mrs. Lord this week and doing our presentations to the rest of the class. I will be passing our POW #10 on Wednesday.

It is the week before vacation and the number of students out due to sickness and leaving early for vacation will grow each day. After a good week of learning with Mrs. Lord, we have the tools necessary to complete our iMovie projects. We will be working on our projects in class this week and getting the few students who still need to take retests on Chapter 4 through that process. Our POW's #9 are due at the start of class on Wednesday or, if you are leaving earlier in the week, on your last day in school.

A new week, a new month and only 10 days until another vacation. We are starting our iMovie project with Mrs. Lord this week. Please bring a pencil and your laptop to class each day and we will head down as a group to Mrs. Lord's lab. On Wednesday, you will be receiving POW #9, that is due on the 11th. If you are leaving early for vacation, please turn in your completed work before you leave.

Junaury 26, 2009

We are wrapping up Chapter 4 this week. Monday we will be working on the 4.7 worksheet. Tuesday will be spent going over the worksheet and doing review problems from the chapter review and chapter test. Wednesday is the Talent Show and early release. I am planning for the test to be on Thursday, but if it is a snow day we will take it on Friday. If Wednesday happens to be a snow day, we will still have the test on Thursday.
