Week of May 18th

We only have three more Monday's to go till the end of school. We are getting into the heart of Chapter 7 now. Monday, we will introduce 7.4. A review day is planned for Tuesday followed by a quiz on Wednesday covering 7.1 - 7.4. I will also be handing out a new POW on that day. Thursday, we will be going over the quiz and catching up with those who have been missing from class. Have a good week. Progress reports went home this week, look for them.

Week of May 11th

We will kick off the week by taking the math portion of the NWEA test. Please bring a pencil and book with you to class. Tuesday, we will go over the POW and start in on Chapter 7. Period 5 will have a retest on the Chapter 6 test. Progress reports should be going home on Friday.

Week of May 4th

We have another busy week coming up. Monday, we will be reviewing for our Chapter 6 Test on Tuesday. Be sure to go over your old homework assignments and the quizzes. Wednesday, is a half day with no academic classes, but be sure that your POW #14 is completed. POW #14 is due on Thursday and we will be going over your test. Friday is laptop day and you should be updating your stock market project numbers. Don't forget to write things down in your planner and use it to keep on top of your assignments.

Week of April 27th

It is the last week in April and I hope that you had a good vacation last week. We have been working hard on Chapter 6 and there are only 3 more lessons to go. I'll be
passing out POW #14 on Wednesday. We will be doing 6.6, 6.7 and 6.8 this week and taking a test early next week.

Week of April 13th

Are you looking forward to vacation? I know I am. We will review for our quiz on Monday. Tuesday, we will have our quiz on 6.1 to 6.5. Wednesday, POW #13 is due. Then the last two days will be spent going over our work and learning a little about the stock market.

April 6, 2009

Looks like we are in for a wet week. The third quarter has ended and we are into our final quarter of the year. This week, we are working on the first lessons of Chapter 6 and focusing adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers. I will be passing out POW #13 on Wednesday and it will be due the Wednesday before vacation. If you are leaving early for vacation, be sure to turn in all your work before you leave. We will be taking a quiz on 6.1 to 6.5 early next week.

March 30, 2009

Last week of the third quarter. Your POW #12 that you have
been working on since Wednesday is due this Wednesday. Period
2 you have your Chapter 5 test on Tuesday and the other three classes
will have it on Thursday. We will be having short classes on Monday
morning and going to the play after lunch. Make sure that you finish
up on a positive note.
