Week of November 14th

We have a five day week, so there will be a Sunshine Math passed out on Monday that will be due on Friday. POW #5 is due on Wednesday. We took the Chapter 2 Test on Thursday and will begin Chapter 3 on Monday.

Week of November 7th

The first quarter is completed and we are starting the second one that runs until mid January. We will be finishing up the last two lessons in Chapter 2 and taking the test on Thursday. A new POW will be passed out on Wednesday. There is no Sunshine Math this week.

Week of October 31st

Boo, be safe out there on Monday night. Will be working our way through Lessons 3 and 4 this week. Quiz on 1-3 on Wednesday and your POW is due. The quarter ends on Friday and we will be taking our final SBR test.

Week of October 24th

We are now into a new chapter and two weeks left in this quarter. Monday and Tuesday, we will be working on Lesson 2 and solving two step equations. Wednesday, is short classes due to the half-day and I will be passing out the last POW of the quarter. Thursday is Pink Pants Day as there is no school on Friday due to parent conferences.

Week of October 17th

We have a five day week this week, so a new Sunshine Math will be passed out on Monday and is due on Friday, please show all your work. Monday and Tuesday, we will be reviewing for the Chapter 1 test. Tuesday morning is the lockdown, so that will change our routine. The test will be on Wednesday. Then we will be going into Chapter 2.

Week of October 11th

Short week of classes due to the long weekend. It is time to finish up our studies of Chapter 1. We have Lessons 9 and 10 to complete. POW #3 is due on Wednesday. Another SBR Test on Friday. No Sunshine Math assignment this week.

Week of October 3rd

September is over and there are five weeks left in this first quarter. We have been working at mastering our understanding of scientific notation. Monday will be a review day and then there will be a quiz on 1.6 and 1.7 on Tuesday. Wednesday, we will be going over the quiz and passing out POW #3. We should be able to start in on 1.8 before the extra long weekend. Thursday is Pink Pants Day as there is no school on Friday or Monday.
