Week of December 4th

Now that we know what slope is and how to find it, we will continue through Chapter 3. Your POW is due on Tuesday, since there are no classes on Wednesday, the half-day. Lesson 3.3 on Monday and Tuesday, with 3.4 on Thursday and Friday.

Week of November 27th

We are now at the end of November, hope you had a restful Thanksgiving vacation. Though a few students need to finish up the Chapter 2 Test and/or SBR Test #5, it is now time to start in on Chapter 3. POW #6 will be passed out mid-week and due in a week. Quiz on 3.1 and 3.2, slope, on Friday.

Week of November 20th

Only two days of classes before the Thanksgiving break. Some students will be taking retest on Chapter 2 on Monday, while others will be doing the SBR Test. The students that don't take the SBR Test on Monday will be taking it on Tuesday. Have a restful Thanksgiving with your family.

Week of November 13th

It will be good to have a five day week before our next vacation. Monday, we will continue with Lesson 4 and finish up the chapter on Tuesday. Wednesday is a review day after they turn in their Thanksgiving POW. The Chapter 2 Test will be on Thursday and we will be going over corrections on Friday and taking care of any absents or retakes. Then there are only two days of school before Thanksgiving vacation.

Week of November 6th

This will be another short week of school, with there being no school on Friday. Monday will be a review day. The quiz on Tuesday will be covering 2.1 to 2.3. A new POW will be passed out on Wednesday and we will be doing quiz corrections. Thursday is Pink Pants Day and we will be wrapping up the week.

Week of October 30th

We have reached the last week of the first quarter. Monday, we will be completing a worksheet on Lesson 2.1 strengthening our understanding of solving equations. Then we will be moving onto Lessons 2 and 3. A SBR Test on Wednesday and then the quarter ends on Friday.

Week of October 23rd

Short week due to a half day on Wednesday and no school on Friday due to conferences. We will be focusing on making corrections and taking a retest on Chapter 1, if needed. The last POW of the quarter is due on Wednesday. Next, we will be moving into Chapter 2.
