Week of February 22nd

Hope that you enjoyed a restful winter break. Next vacation is in eight weeks and half of those weeks are short ones. Will be passing out the second half of our textbooks on Monday. Look over the lessons in Chapter 5 and we will start making our way through them. A new Sunshine Math sheet will be passed out on Monday and is due on Friday. You must show how you found the answers. Wednesday, will be a SBR test and pass out the next POW, due the following Wednesday.

Week of February 8th

Surprised to have a snow day on Friday. I hope that we don't have another one on Tuesday. We will be finishing up Chapter 4 and taking the test on Tuesday or Wednesday. POW #9 is due on Wednesday. The SBR test has been moved to Thursday. Pink Pants Day on Friday as we wrap up the week and go on vacation.

Week of February 1st

Only 9 and 1/2 days to go till vacation. We will be finishing up our studies of Chapter 4 this week. New POW on Tuesday. Half-day on Wednesday with the Career Day program. SBR test on Friday.

Week of January 25th

A new quarter begins on Monday. Last year, we lost three days of school this week due to snow storms. Let's hope that we can get through these next 14 1/2 days of school before vacation without a snow day. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday, due on Friday. We will keep working our way through Chapter 4, Lessons 6 and 7 will be our main focus this week. The high school math placement test will be on Wednesday. Please be sure to be in math class that day and do your best.

Week of January 18th

With the holiday on Monday, this week should go by quickly to finish up the second quarter and half way point of the school year. My ETEP intern from USM has been in the classroom for a few periods each morning and is getting to know the students and the daily routines. Andrew Pogg is his name and he will be assisting me more often as the semester goes on. We will continue our study of Chapter 4 on Tuesday and we are now up to Lesson 5. POW #8 is due on Wednesday. Thursday, we will be taking the last SBR test of the quarter and wrapping up any loose ends on Friday.

Week of January 11th

This will be a chopped up week, with the half day on Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday, we will be finishing up Lesson 3 and going over Lesson 4. Wednesday there will be short classes, where your POW is due at the start of the class. For those of you involved in the Talent Show, your POW's are due on Tuesday. Thursday will be a review day of 4.1 to 4.4 and you will get your last POW sheet for the quarter. There will be a quiz on those lessons on Friday which is also a Pink Pants Day as there will be no school on Monday due to the holiday.

Week of January 4th

Happy New Year. We are starting a new chapter this week and will start with Chapter 4, Lesson 1 and keep on going. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday due on Friday. New POW on Wednesday, due mid week of the next week. SBR test on Friday.
