Week of January 4th

Happy New Year. We are starting a new chapter this week and will start with Chapter 4, Lesson 1 and keep on going. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday due on Friday. New POW on Wednesday, due mid week of the next week. SBR test on Friday.

Week of December 14th

Time to finish up this chapter and take the test on Thursday. Wednesday, your POW is due. No Sunshine Math this week. Monday, 3.7, Tuesday, 3.8 and Wednesday will be our review day. Keep studying and asking questions in class or tutorial.

Week of December 7th

We have reached the mid-point of Chapter 3, so review day on Monday and quiz on 3.1 through 3.5 on Tuesday along with a SBR test. Wednesday is a half day and I will be passing out POW #6, due on the 16th. Thursday and Friday, we will continue on in Chapter 3. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday, due on Friday.

Week of November 30th

We will continue to make our way through Chapter 3 this week. Be sure that you know how to find the slope using two points. The mid chapter quiz will be coming up at towards the end of the week. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday, due on Friday. No POW till next week.

Week of November 23rd

Only two days of classes this week. Monday there is a short quiz on Lessons 1 and 2 covering the basics of slope. I hope that there will also be time to go over your SBR tests from Friday. On Tuesday, we will be going over your Sunshine Math sheets from Friday and the quiz. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a good vacation.

Week of Novmeber 16th

It will be good to have a five day week of school. New Sunshine Math sheet on Monday, due on Friday. Please show your work in order to recieve full credit. Monday, we will be going over the Chapter 2 test and starting Chapter 3. Wednesday, the first POW of the quarter is due. You must attach a chart or gragh showing your work. We will be taking the first SBR test of the quarter on Friday. Only eight more days of school this month.

Week of Novmber 9th

With not having school on Wednesday, this week is going to feel a little broken up. Time to finish up Chapter 2. I was going to give the test on Tuesday, but think we will spend the first two days of the week on Lesson 5 and take the test on Thursday. New POW will be passed out on Tuesday, but no Sunshine Math this week. SBR test on Friday.
