Week of May 25th

I hope that you had a good Memorial Day Weekend and are ready to get back to school on Tuesday. We will continue our work in Chapter 8, with section 2. Your POW #15 is due on Wednesday. We hope to get to sections 3 and 4 before the weekend. SBR test on Friday. No Sunshine Math sheet this week.

Week of May 18th

More testing this week. NWEA testing in math class on Monday and Tuesday. Then we will be working on a poster project covering any topic in Chapter 8 on Wednesday and Thursday and making presentations on Friday. New POW will be passed out mid week.

Week of May 11th

This will be a fast week of school, as there is a half-day on Wednesday and the 8th grade is going to Funtown on Friday. Monday, we will start in on Chapter 8, but no Sunshine Math sheet this week. Tuesday, we will continue with 8.1, take a 30 second multplication test and a new POW will be passed out. Our next SBR test will be on Thursday. The schedule will continue to be different due to the Sixth grade testing.

Week of May 4th

We are now into May and things at school are going to start picking up speed. We will be finishing up Lesson 7 on Monday and passing out a new Sunshine Math sheet, due on Friday. Tuesday, we will be reviewing for the Chapter 7 Test. Wednesday, is the test and POW #14 is due. Friday is the MEA Science Test for most of the morning, then in the afternoon, we will be having four short classes, so that you can turn in your assignments to your teachers.

Week of April 27th

We are having testing this week, so the schedule has been changed. Please try not to miss any school this week or at least be there Monday through Thursday, so you don't have to spend time doing make ups on Friday. Shorten classes with no homework this week. Look for a new POW mid week.

Week of April 13th

First week of the fourth quarter and last week before vacation. There is no Sunshine Math due this week, but there is a POW due on Wednesday. We have been working in Chapter 7 and will continue with those studies this week. Have a great vacation.

Week of April 6th

Now, we have finally made it to the end of the 3rd quarter this week. A new Sunshine Math sheet will be passed out on Monday and due on Friday. We will continue to work our way through Chapter 7 and take a quiz on the the first two lessons on Thursday. A new POW will be passed out mid-week.
