Week of Novembem 10th

Short week of classes this week. I will be passing out the new POW on Wednesday and we will start in on Lesson 3. Quiz on slope on Thursday. SBR test on Friday. Then it will be the weekend again, already.

Week of November 3rd

Time to start a new quarter. 25% of the school year is over already. On Monday, we will finish going over the Chapter 2 test, SBR #4 and POW #4 from last week. A new Sunshine Math sheet will be passed out, which will be due on Friday. Tuesday, we will begin our study of Chapter 3. 30 second multiplication test at some point. Friday is Pink Pants Day, ahead of the long weekend. 15 days of classes in November, make each one count.

Week of October 27th

Last week of the first quarter. We will be finishing up the last lesson of this chapter and then doing some review work. POW #4 due on Wednesday and we will be taking another SBR test. Chapter 2 test on Thursday and then we will finish up the quarter on Friday. No Sunshine Math this week, we have done four of them and you have a busy week already.

Week of October 20th

A short week of class due to conferences. Monday will be a review day to prepare for our quiz on Lesson 1 to 3 in Chapter 2 on Tuesday. Wednesday is a half-day with shortened classes, I hope to go over the corrected quizzes. Thursday, we will start in on Lesson 4. No Sunshine Math this week, but you will be getting our final POW of the quarter mid week.

Week of October 13th

The first of two shorter weeks of classes. Tuesday, we will begin our studies of Chapter 2. There are only 5 lessons in this chapter, so the plan is to finish it up before the end of the month. There is no POW or Sunshine math sheet this week. This first quarter ends on the 31st.

Week of October 5th

Our last five day week for a few weeks. Monday we will do working on a worksheet covering Lessons 8 and 9. Tuesday will be a review day and the POW should be finished for homework. Wednesday, the POW is due and there will be a test on Chapter 1. Thursday, we will be going over the test. An in class, Sunshine Math, will be the assignment on Friday, ahead of the long weekend.

Week of September 29th

Hope that you enjoyed this beautiful weekend. On Monday, there will be a new Sunshine Math sheet passed out and we will continue working on Lesson 7. Tuesday will be spent practicing problems from Lesson 7 in prepration for the quiz on Wednesday or Thursday. The next POW will be passed out on Wednesday. We will be taking another 30 second multipication test, at some point and your Sunshine Math is due on Friday, as always.
